About

Ministry To Seafarers meets with visiting Seafarers, communicating the saving grace of Jesus Christ through words and deed.

Since 1993 the Ministry to Seafarers has worked closely with the Mission to Seafarers (Anglican Church of Canada),The Stella Maris Mission (Roman Catholic Church) and KIMM (Korean International Maritime Mission) a Ministry from the Korean Presbyterian Church of Korea.

As a ministry we have many opportunities to serve the seafarers that visit our ports, demonstrating the love of Jesus. We are privileged and thankful for your support.

We are thankful for:

  • the many people in BC and Alberta who support this ministry
  • the opportunity to meet seafarers from around the world and tell them of God's love for them in Jesus
  • the opportunity to give visiting seafarers a copy of the Bible in their own language
  • the opportunity to present seafarers in our ports with Christian music CDs
  • the clothing, mugs, puzzles, magazines, stuffed animals etc., received from Bibles for Missions stores in BC
  • receiving Chinese DVD/CDs explaining the gospel, from the Back To God Hour
  • the participation by most BC and Alberta Christian Reformed Churches in collecting wrapped and monetary gifts
  • your donations for the Christmas at Sea project and your anticipated participation this year
  • the opportunity to hand out approximately 3,000 gifts to seafarers during the Christmas season
  • your faithful prayer and financial support for the Ministry to Seafarers over the years
