October 4 2008 was a stormy day at Delta Port. I took a picture of a bulk carrier that is now on it's way to Rotterdam. You can see the ship in the distance. They will be at sea for more than 45 days without seeing land.
Next Monday Winnie and I plan on flying to Amsterdam-----in just 9 hours! We hope to stay there for two weeks and visit with family and friends. When we fly home, again, in just 9 hours the seafarers I met on that day have 30 more days to go before arriving in Rotterdam!
