After two months of being shut down, Birth # 1 of Westshore Terminals resumed operations with the docking of the Trinity Star. As mentioned in my previous update, the chaplain had to walk to the ship. The weather was beautiful and I enjoyed the walk using a temporary walkway which required the mandatory life jacket and hard hat. From the pictures you can see the huge hole that was created by the ship's collision.
While walking there and taking pictures I was also impressed by the cost involved by such an accident. Cranes, welders, and tug boats were everywhere; even a small motor boat that has to be on duty all the times in case a worker would fall into the water during work.
I am glad I could visit again at birth one and last night the crew members came to the Mission building, equipped with life jackets and helmets!
